DCA is a generic drug so (for-profit) pharmaceutical
companies cannot invest 100 million dollars into a drug which will not make it
any money. Note: generic drug means it
has already been on the market for a long time so the patent expired and now
all pharmaceutical companies can sell it.
Also if somehow DCA’s cancer applications are patentable the
patent should belong to Dr. Michelakis’ team, which is to say if a patent
hasn’t been obtained by him already.
Because the co-operative is a not-for-profit pharmaceutical company it
shouldn’t care whether it holds the patent or not as the end goal is the cure and
not to make money.
In this exceptional case where the co-operative does not own
the patent so it can’t control if it would be offered to the public at cost if
it passes health authorities’ approval as a cancer treatment; but, in this
exceptional case DCA is already a generic drug for other applications and it is
cheap to make. It is unlikely it would
be priced higher for its cancer applications than it would for its other
applications.
There may or may not be legal implications of testing
without a patent, I don’t really know.
Just trying to think out of a man-made ‘box’ to test this drug as
quickly and effectively as possible. I think I heard of other DCA tests being
held in different parts of the world so this may be possible.
I have never contacted Dr. Michelakis about the Stickman
Model so if he ever hears of this website it will surprise him. I once sent a very lame email about possibly
holding a fundraiser for DCA but I never heard back from him and I am not even
sure my email would have made it past the university’s spam filter.

A cell’s mitochondrion does many things
including: it is responsible for producing the cell’s energy from oxygen, and
for apoptosis – or programmed cell death.
A cancer cell’s mitochondrion cannot do these functions correctly. All types of cancer cells (lung, breast,
skin, etc.) are the same in this respect: the cell tries to get at least part
of its energy from glucose (sugar), and it doesn't commit suicide like it is
supposed to. We know this is true
because a PET scan (machine used to detect all cancers) works on the core
principle of finding cells using sugar for energy.
It would be a dream comes true if you
could fix a cell’s mitochondrion and cure all cancers at the same time.

test. But I want to caution you this
site is written like mine – it is an opinion site so you will be receiving
biased information. It is your
responsibility to check out this site’s sources to form your own opinion on

and although I feel the information is heavily biased to try to get you to come
to the same conclusions as the author(s) the quality of the sites sources are
exceptional. I would caution this site
